Valuable item Buff not permanent
Not sure if its a feature or a bug, but there's no way I'm selling my valuables one by one just to keep the items and their buffs. Also not sure selling them is what caused the Buff loss.

I also noticed this but don’t see anyone talking about it. Not sure if it happens when you sell the item or die or reload but the buffs definitely disappear.
You can’t sell the item though, it just upgrades you when you buy it. To notice, you also need to check your character stats in the menu, otherwise you have no clue at all

Same for me. Noticed with resistances, checked with HP. Bought valuable item, got increased HP, saved, reloaded, no + HP, no money, no selling item

Happens when you reload the game for any reason. It's not caused by accidentally selling the thing you buy, because the thing you buy isn't actually an item that goes into your valuables inventory.
Have had the same issue with the save and reload thing with the “permanent” buffs being gone after you save and reload that save

Same here. I've purchased at least 5 or 6 of the "Kirkwall select" damage buffs and they all seem to disappear from my stat screen at some point. Huge bummer as this is a pretty major damage buff that I'd love to have late game once I've spent money on them all.
Still bugged after patch. Great job, Bioware.
Came here to ask if the patch fixed it. Disappointing. Guess I'll keep missing out on these till it's fixed. No point in spending gold on those items right now.
Tried after the patch and saw too, that loss of permanent buff after loading up a save still wasn’t fixed
The issue for me is on PS5
Same for me… bought quite a few.. money’s gone… ‘permanent’ buff is gone… after reloading my manual save (of autosaves also for that matter)…playing on PS5
Same issue on PC. Also when buying the buffing items some vendors will display as having more than 1 of an item, but it only lets you buy once.
