(Xbox) Pre-order Blood dragon Armor Missing

My fiance and I are on XBOX - he purchased the deluxe preorder that had the dragon blood armour.

He's the primary accountnon our console, he bought the game for me as a gift. Normally in these situations, both users can access all the extras the other purchases (i.e., he can play games I purchased and vice versa - dlc and preorder freebies are accessible by both, regardless of who purchases it).

However, with Vielguard, only he has access to the chest in Varric's room. I just passed 'A Cage For Gods', so I'm well into into the story line. In fact, I had nothing from the preorder or deluxe package.

He contacted XBOX, who referred me to EA. Anyone else have this problem? More importantly - how do I even contact customer service, lol. I can't find a way to start a case, the chat it doesn't appear to be able to connect me with agents, there's no chat or phone number I can find. It's... confusing..

    EA support cannot help us with this issue. A lot of us are experiencing this. Still has not been fixed yet but they said they are looking into it. How long it will take to get fixed is anyones guess.

      So far, it seems broken again, even for me 

      Even my not skipping (possible workaround) does not seem to be helping. ( at the point of typing )

      This issue is getting rather frustrating.

        Yeah I know exactly how you're feeling. I haven't played in a few weeks now, I don't have motivation after not having this issue be fixed.

    So this is not something we can actually assist with because it deals with content sharing. Regardless of it working on other DA games, or other games in general, it is technically considered game sharing. This isn't a game issue. That is a feature of the console. EA Support cant fix that because there isn't anything to actually fix. If the content is missing on an account that pre-ordered it or bought a certain edition on the console, that becomes a console issue. That is an entitlement issue. Or a bugged save in which case, you would start over.

    The initial issue with pre-order and deluxe content was resolved; however, if the Xbox account does not own it still cannot, sadly, there won't be a resolution from a CM or Live Support.

      Could this issue be related to those of us who are still not having the DLC show up even though they are installed in our games?

      Thanks - that's a huge bummer  šŸ˜ž So basically- nothing to be done, but my purchasing the game myself? 

      Do you know why there's literally no way to contact customer service / support though? Or a way to file a case? My fiance paid $120+ CAD - he should be able to get help.

        QueridaSara Honestly from an EA side no because the feature itself is a console feature not a game or EA account feature. There is literally nothing for us to change to allow it to happen. I know if you scour the internet, there are steps, we just cant officially say do ABC and you can share content. 

        So, if you want to contact EA support, you can use the following, but even they can't do much because they have no options to change unless both accounts own it. That is what they will say.

        • Select the Games Support tab
        • Select EA App or EA account
        • Select See all help topics
        • Select one of the account issues like I cannot log in
        • You may get a pop-up that says login and get faster help
        • Select Continue without logging in
        • This should give you the chat/email option

        Contact Xbox Support, though; that is different; I know they changed it up a bit.
