I have games installed on Origin, which later updated to EA Games app. I have EA Games app now. If I switch to new PC from current PC, will I have the current progress available there, for all games or do I need to start over again?

It depends. Does the game have online multiplayer, like Battlefield, or is it single-player only, like The Sims 4? In the case of Battlefield, yes. It will sync over to the new PC as long as you're logged in with the same account. In the case of games like The Sims 4, you need to manually transfer the save files.
