@EA_Barry
Yep, I also know it's on because Origin asks for my code every time, EA desktop does not. - 3 years ago
This must be done using private browsing window. It is the ONLY way it works. There must be an issue with cookies or local storage data. EA really needs to investigate this. Go to Customer Portal (ea.com) in a private browsing tab and the code will send. Then you can change or add details in your Customer Portal (ea.com) to enable 2FA to avoid this happening in the future when logging in on the desktop client or non-private browsing scenarios.

I'm trying to set up 2-factor authentication for my EA Games account, and despite selecting iPhone as the device type (for the QR code), I get "invalid QR code" when scanning it on my device. Is there a fix for this?
