Add-ons not appearing in My collection

Hi all!

I have not played the Sims 4 for a couple of months and decided to replay it today. I noticed when I opened up the origin app it was directing me to install the EA app as Origin would no longer be in use for windows. I did so, and downloaded EA and watched as it said information from Origin will be transferred over to the EA app. I logged in and checked in My collection and began loading up my game. A pop up told me in Sims 4 I needed to change from 64 to 32 (or vise versa) on I'm not sure what. I clicked OK and ignored this pop up and went to my saves. When I went onto all my collections of saves, It told me I required expansion packs which to my knowledge at the time, I already had installed.

I closed the game, went into the EA app and clicked my collections. Sims 4 was there however, when I clicked manage add-ons nothing was there except The Sims 4. I sent an email out straight away to EA in fear id have to re-purchase all of the add-ons I have already previously spent money on. They told me to clear the cache (I'm no PC expert so I have no idea what this is) but I followed the steps accordingly.

After doing so, I checked my collections> manage add-ons but to no surprise they still weren't there.

I've tried repairing the Sims 4 , taking my mods out of their folder just incase it was that but nothing seems to be working. Like I said I'm no expert in PC's so I don't really understand what's happening but I'm totally freaking out from how much money I have spent on the game. I feel let down by EA as their transfer from one application to another could have been a lot more organized.

Any tips?

  • Hi there @a12obrien,

If your game library isn't showing your owned DLC, then most likely you're logging into the EA app with the wrong login details. You need to login to the app with the same details that you originally purchased your content on, and you'll see everything available in your library to download and access again.

I'd recommend checking any emails you have for the email receipt of your purchases so you know which account to login to the EA app to. If you need further help locating the correct login details, that's something live support can help with- you can reach out to live support by submitting a help request here, or you can get in touch with that team via Twitter or Facebook as well.
