Summarize your bug Battlefield 1 will not launch on steam
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? attempt to launch the game on steam.
What happens when the bug occurs? I try to launch Battlefield 1 on steam and get a "ActivationUI.exe - Application Error"
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to work
I have owned Battlefield 1 on steam for almost a year, didn't install it until today, it will not launch at all. I have tried verifying file integrity, uninstalling and reinstalling launching through the EA app, launching through Origin, Uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app. All of my drivers are current as well as windows.
Trying running both the EA app and the game as admin @K1ngPremium to see if that helps.
If it does not, can you try installing the most up to date version of VC++ to see if it helps.

You need to install both of the following:
- vcredist_x86_vs2015 (for 32bit Windows version)
- vcredist_x64_vs2015 (for 64bit Windows version)
If you get the message that the files are already installed, select Repair instead. It is recommended to run the installer as administrator (right-click the file, select run as admin).
