Battlefield V not launching from EA Desktop App

I cannot download Origin anymore, they removed it from their site and even softonic or other websites makes you download EAapp instead. I hate this company so much. why can't they make anything that works.

my game just won't launch

Mine still isn't loading up I've reinstalled the game and the app multiple times and the ea app is saying I need to install the game on steam in order to launch I can not find any fix at all.

Same. *sigh* I actually fully reinstalled my operating system, updating everything, clean install, and still no dice.  When it started, it asked me if I wanted to use a cloud save or a local save, which was nuts since I couldn't have a local save.  I chose cloud save, and it told me it had been corrupted, so I could only choose local save.  A "Start Fresh" option would have been nice all things considered.  I'm building a new PC right now.  If it fails on that...

hi i hope u still checking and answer me, im playing from internet cafe and after the update for kernel anti cheat right after the update in require restart but the problem is if you play at internet cafe if you restart the game you will erase everything you update or download/install back to original/clean without the anti cheat update, week after the update happening i came back to the internet cafe it already updated from steam so i didnt need to update it my self at the spesific computer so it already updated from the centre control of the internet cafe but now the game wont open, i did everything from verify and etc, is there i can do to fix this ? if not ea just lost some player to fill the game... thanks..

I managed to fix a similar problem, by installing origin and then launching from the EA app. Seems there are still hooks that point back to origin that were stopping the game from launching.

i don't even have "EADesktop.exe" ☹️
