Bought Battlefield 5 from steam, cant launch.

I just recently bought a few of the battlefield games which were on special from Steam.

Upon purchasing and installing, it seems to launch the EA and give me an error message of 'Something went wrong...' then it says ' to continue linking your EA account, head back and start over'.

It gives me no option button to head back anywhere, when installing the EA app, going through the walkthrough of linking accounts, it still gives me an error message saying this account is already linked to @disabled.ea.com.  Im seriously at a loss here, i do not wish to link any account to play but if i must do so then please help me out.
