Hello, everyone. The EA App now requires a 64 bit PC running Windows 10 or 11. MacOS running Catalina or newer is also supported.
I am having this same issue. It was working fine, then it wouldn't start. I tried to repair via installer, which also didn't work for the same error. That ended up uninstalling the EA app from my computer and now I get this error when trying to install it. I hope whatever this is gets fixed soon.

i’m having this issue as well. but i’m using windows 7 and the oldest windows i can download the c++ redistributable on is windows 10. please help

If you’re responding to me, I don’t use Windows 7. I’m on Steam Deck and I’m having the error codes I previously mentioned (INST-21-25005, and INST-14-1627) and I was able to previously install Mass Effect Andromeda with no issues, The Sims 4 as well, and all of a sudden after an uninstall, Mass Effect Andromeda won’t run via Steam because the EA App is failing at installation. It looks like others have the exact same issue as well so it is not exclusive to me or the Steam Deck.
I am having the same issue on Windows 7 . Ea app just stopped working . Have you been able to fix it?
Yes. I've done all the steps. I disabled the firewall and it didn't install, same error. I updated anything that could be updated. I've run the installer countless times at this point, all as administrator just to be sure. I'm at a loss of what to do.
