Cannot get either of my owned EA games to install on MAC

As per the title and attachments, when I try installing, it indefinetly trys to install. no "preparing" stage, no progress made, just "Installing" the entire time.

Solutions I have found and tried to no avail:
-restarting my computer
-restarting the EA App
-making sure EA App has full disk access
-changing the install location
-making sure i have enough storage
-EA App recovery
-Trying to install another game, and then queueing the game im trying to install on my computer, and cancelling the other games download
-Background download on
-Auto update on, then off again 

I literally just wanna play some sims 3 man i'm trying my best
