Cannot import Xbox friends to EA desktop app (Win10)

Cannot import friendslist from Xbox to EA Desktop app.  Any fixes?  It gives an error triangle and says: We couldn't load your Xbox Friends.  I have Unlinked and re-linked my Xbox account from my ...

I have tried everything to import my Xbox friends onto the EA Play PC app but it always results in an error. I have already linked my account, cleared cache, reinstalled etc. Anyone have any other solutions?? Screenshot included of issue.

I havent had an error but when I imported my xbox friends, none of them were imported. I'm guessing its still a bug
