Can't download BF 2042

Hello there,

I've recently run into an issue on the EA app wherein I cannot download Battlefield 2024.

I have been in touch with support multiple times where I have had a report raised but no solution has yet been presented.

I previously purchased BF 2024 through a 3rd Party, registered and installed via Origin. I also purchased the Season 1 upgrade via Origin and have an active EA Play entitlement through my Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

I can currently download and install any other title available to me in the EA App library.

I have removed and reinstalled the EA App, cleared the cache, ran as admin, adjusted UAC settings, disabled/removed antivirus, tried multiple hard drive locations and attempted to install it on my laptop as opposed to my desktop and the problem persists.

Both systems are Windows 10 installs, and fully up-to-date.

At this stage, I do not believe the problem lies with any of my hardware or software and I feel the fault lies with how the EA Servers are responding to my account attempting to download it via the EA App.

Any input or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    @kahuna9995 I have the exact same issue, but I actually bought the game from ea. But regardless I keep getting an download error message and it gets stuck at 14%

    Same issue here. Tried to install the update and repair the game with no luck. Download does not even start, I just get an error. I have a sneaking suspicion the servers are currently overloaded which is causing the errors.

    @SFCLongNoseSame here. Checked multiple things, nothing worked. Please let me know if you find a solution

    EDIT: I fixed it by starting a different download and then retrying to start the download.

    Well I just received the following from EA Support on case #156699409

    Seeing as Origin has been shutdown, I'm going to need to look how to get access to that it would appear. Somewhat shocking to be fair.

    Same here. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still stuck at 14% and an error message.

    Me too.  Cleared cache and tried a game repair but stuck downloading
