Can't launch Titanfall2 Steam Linux

Game won't launch once in the EA app i click to launch, it tries and fails. Occasionally launching it through steam it produces a window to register the game but after trying to login it tells me i'm not connected to the internet. Game is absolutely borked on proton when all reports have indicated it worked fine previously. Any way to fix it?
