So, I don't know what's going on, and I've done everything: resetting the app, clearing the cache, resetting my laptop, and troubleshooting. Nothing seems to work! I'm not getting any error messages either.
The game just won't open. I saw a forum that said to run a DXDiag report, so that's attached down below.

i have the same problem, i tried everything and nothing happens
It's so annoying! I had the problem about two times before, but I was able to fix it. This time NOTHING works. I'm going to see if I can run the game from Steam.
Nope. Won't launch from Steam either. It says "playing," but the game never pops up. I have no idea what's going o,n and I'm just about to delete Sims 4 altogether.

No. I've looked at all the forums and done everything recommended, yet I'm still having issues.
It's got something to do with the EA app. My PC requirements are fine, everything is updated. It's just the app. It has issues almost all the time
ugh I'm having the same issue, I've even moved it to a 4tb external hard drive and it will go to the main screen and the mouse is frozen. No error reports come up. Its so frustrating, I've uninstalled like 4 times over the past two days!
thekaffeehaus Try forcing the game to open in DirectX 11 mode. Open the EA App, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx11 to the command line box.
liz1234567 As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, that is if you can get that far.
If you get another crash, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

If you'd like help in this forum, please post in English. In that case, I'd like to see a screenshot of the error you get, if any, when you try to install the game. It's fine if the error itself is in Portuguese.

thekaffeehaus Please look for an error that happened when you tried to play in DirectX 11 mode. Click Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent attempt to open Sims 4. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.
