Can't uninstall game via EA app or system

Have downloaded the EA Sports FC 25 showcase via the EA app onto my PC, but the game wouldn't run, so decided to give up & uninstall it - but now I can't even do that. It's sat there taking up 50+ GB on my device for nothing.

I've tried uninstalling via the EA app, nothing happens. I've tried uninstalling via the settings - apps - installed apps route and again, nothing happens (the installer seems to initiate, I'm asked for permission for the cleanup app to make changes, but then no uninstall occurs).

Please can someone let me know how I can get rid of the app?
