Does buying a game again for the EA app overwrite my old game?

Question

Does buying a game you already own on the EA app overwrite the old license? Back in the day I bought Mass Effect Legendary Edition on Gamesplanet for Origin. Since moving to the EA app there has been some issues. Such issues are that I can still add the game to my cart even though it's in my library and the EA Help doesn't register that it's in my library. Im planning on buying the game from Mass Effect Legendary Edition from it's official website. It's on a deep sale. Will it overwrite my old license and register that I fully own it on the EA app? Let me know.&nbsp;

Hi @RyuuInch,Hmm, that's a bit of a strange situation, isn't it? Just wanted to double-check, I quickly looked at your EA account through our system (which is something we don't normally do via the forums) and yup, I can confirm that ME: Legendary Edition (ME:LE for short) is registered on your account.You still see it in the EA app, in your Game Library, right? And when you click on it, can you install and play the game like usual? The only issue is that it still shows as purchasable when you check it in the in-app store, right?

@EA_Leeuw&nbsp;It seems like I can still download it. It still shows as purchasable in the EA app and it doesn't show that I own it on the EA Help website. Is the game correctly registered to my account, do I own it? @EA_LeeuwIt is 🙂 I decided to buy the game on the official website for Mass Effect Legendary Edition for the EA app. It was&nbsp;super cheap so I didn't mind 🙂 for some reason it still doesn't show it as "My Game" on the EA Help website. So do you think it's something to worry about? It is showing normally in the EA app now as "In Library", without the add to cart icon and price now (like the rest of the games) which I wanted.With regards to the EA Help page:ea support question 2_1695245541.png shows what all my other games look like on the help page.&nbsp;ea support question 3_1695245545.png shows what Mass Effect Legendary Edition looks like on the EA Help page compared to the other games.&nbsp;Let me know if it's something to worry about?&nbsp;Kind regards&nbsp;Richard&nbsp;
