Summarize your bug When I try download a game (StarWars Jedi:Survivor) and when it reaches 100% of download, it restarts in a loop and start downloading from beggining again. Went throug approximately 20 loops like this.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to install a game
What happens when the bug occurs? pernamently downloading in a loop. It went from 0-100and then directly to 0 again
What do you expect to see? installed and playable game

Also tried some basic troubleshooting like:

1) Unninstall app
2) Reboot
3) Install again
--> Result failed

1) Cleared app cache
2) Deleted temp files
3) Uninstalled app
4) Rebooted
5) Installed app
--> Result failed again

  • @DourikHaving the same issue here... 

    EDIT: Of course, I have already tried clearing cache via the App Recovery.I Also have double the necessary amount of free space on my HDD.

  • wanted to share tips what to do from agents, but obviously messages are deleted as they are to embarrassed or I don’t know.

  • This is starting to be HEAVILY suspicious. I believe people from Epic Games are not able to run the game at all as the number of ppl having exactly the same issue is tremendous ☹️

    This is the reason why the game has mixed reviews on steam - its basically a big scam ☹️ I went through massive amounts of posts on this forum about exactly the same issue happening since April 23 and it WAS NOT YET fixed!!!!! 

    P.S.: I will wait 24 hours then I am gonna refund, everybody should really do the same. I will tell everybody on my facebook page, will try to contact Epic customer support and let them know this game is a scam.

    ( 2m 44s ) Me: Ive both a game (Jedi Survivor) but I am unable to install it as i am in some downloading loop. Its download fully but after reaching 100% it starts again from scratch. I tryed reinstall your app (EA APP) and reseting cache but nothing helped.

    ( 14m 35s ) Agent: Just to confirm, have you restarted your PC after you cleared cache of the EA App?
    ( 16m 11s ) Me: I removed app (full uninstall), then rebooted, then tryed download and tuck in the loop. In next attemp Ive done cache removal, reboot, downlload and fail. I tryed even combination of both via ramove cache, uninstall, reboot, install, remove cacehe, reboot and try to download ans till nothing

  • This is just an example of how rotten corporations will get. Employing thousands of people yet doing nothing ...

  • So I gave it up and refunded game instead.....

    Quick summary

    More than 35 mails exchanged

    Average response time around 4 hours

    Most of the emails were about 

    5x Verificcation via code, if they are talking with the owner

    4x asking for an email address asociated with account

    4x offered guide with reinstalation of app

    2x told me to close all others apps except EA App

    4x asked whats my problem (they even have video of it and report from EA tool) 

    and before last verification (last two mails) they asked what I am using as app to download a game....

  • Thank you for you effort. Anyway, I refunded the game already. I do not have nerves for this. Will never try to buy anything from EA again and will heavily discourage all my friends from ever doing so. 🙂 Farewell 🙂
