Dragon Age Inquisition Not Launching x EA app

I'm also having this issue and have been for a few days. Running through steam and then steam runs it through origin. I also tried going through the EA app, but it still is doing this. I also had an issue before this happened when my game would freeze on the black loading screen with the symbol in the corner and I would have to use the task manager to close it. It's so frustrating because I've been trying to get it to work for over a week with the latter issue and three days for the former.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, checked my drivers were up to date and doing all the things OP did with no result. It's so frustrating.

Hi @JustCallMeInhi @Robin7808 To confirm are you using Origin or the EA App client? Also, would it be possible to get a DxDiag?

@EA_Illium I have been playing for the last year on Origin, but it stopped working not too long ago. I thought it might be something to do with things being transferred to the EA app, so I tried the EA app and it had the same problem. The game would show that it was launching, and the apps (both Origin and EA) would open an do something, (Origin would open in the mode with the message at the top saying it's open to run a game on steam then go back to it's normal window, EA would go from my library to a loading circle in the middle like it was doing something back to my library) and then stop doing that something, then the game just wouldn't load. I haven't had any problems with it since I got the games until now. It's also affecting DA2, which I also have from Steam.

You Dx diag shows only an R5 onboard graphics chip as your video card.  I don't think that meets the minimum standards and could easily cause DAI to not run.  Have you ever succeeded in having it run on that laptop??  I wouldn't expect it to run well even if it did run.

I'm used both Origin and EA App to lunch DA:I, but I uninstalled EA App, i find origin more suitable for use. My Dxdiag is in Polish but most of stuff is English. If theres a problem beacause i'm posting stuff not on PL HQ sorry, but i didn't get any help there or respond since i posted this problem.

Is this topic still open.  I'm having the same problem.  I click on DAI from the EA app and it goes away as if it's going to start the game but then returns to the EA app and doesn't play.  My DXDiag file is inlcuded.

if you read the Steam forums on the topic. Not only does Inquisition not run, but DA2 does not run, and Origins crashes upon story transitions without save (even if you do save).

All this since the transfer off of origin update.

The only way to play the games is to be online and connected to the EA app.

Which is unacceptable. We purchased these games long, long ago to be played offline at our leisure, not at your permission!

So I just today tried to install the EA desktop app to then install DAI to play, but it's just not working. When I press play in EA desktop app, it closes as if to launch the game but nothing else happens and shortly thereafter the app opens up again with no error message. If I try to launch the game with admin privileges it sometimes says "Unable to launch the game, error on our side, try again later" Or just nothing at all as earlier.
I've tried reinstalling both EA desktop and the game. I've tried repairing the game. I don't have any anti-virus software installed. I have the latest updates for windows and my nvidia graphics card.
I don't know what else I can try and i'm going crazy, it is insane that I cannot play this game I bought long ago and that I could play just fine through origin for windows just a couple of years ago. Please help
