The only workaround is to reboot the app. Otherwise there's no way to make that go away at all.It might not sound like much of a big deal but, considering I got literally forced to migrate from a perfectly functional app to this, I'd like for it to match the previous one in terms of stability and functionality. What "app recovery" are you referring to @EA_Pythia?

Here's a screenshot. Notice how it shows "Repair complete" at the bottom. I am assuming that status is more correct than the one by the game name up top.

Hello @DarthFDG, the app recovery that I'm talking about is in the EA app, when you clock on the three lines in the upper left corner, go to "Help", and then click on "App Recovery". It empties the Cache and has helped other people with similar problems before. Did the app recovery that you did help? If not, could you try the one straight from of the EA app? - Pythia

Sorry @EA_Pythia . I meant the EA folder in the start menu. It did not resolve the issue. I had to revert a video driver.

Don't think this helps, but I had that same problem and just kept... quitting and re-repairing. It didn't actually fix the real problem I had but at least it finished 'repairing'.

did this repair issue happen with every game or one specific game? And has it happened several times before, or was this a one time issue that resolved after it finished the repair that one time? If it happens again, could you try the app recovery and get back to me about if that works?

Hi,
The problem was already solved. This happened with the Sims 4, and didn't solve the issue - I actually had so many problems with EA app that I uninstalled it and returned to Origin. Since I am using Origin I don't have any problems now, though.

How do you revert to origin? Is there a place to download it for Windows still available?
