My EA app crashes to desktop after a few minutes.
There are no error messages.
In Services, the EA background services are disabled. I change them to automatic but they go back to disabled after every startup of the EA app.
Please help!
SOLUTION
Re-download the EA App installer from EA’s website and run the repair function. It fixed my issue of EA App and BF6 client suddenly terminating.
I repaired BF6 using the function in the EA App. It did not fix the issue. I also used the EA App Recovery feature (can be found in EA App folder) to clear the cache. It did not fix the issue.
Lastly, I just re-downloaded the EA App installer and ran the repair function in hopes to fix the EA Background Services issue. So far my game has not crashed so this may be the fix. I’ll report back shortly this is the fix.
I am having this same issue. Never happened before. Battlefield 6 and the EA keep closing forcing me back to the desktop, but there is no event log or crash log in Event Viewer or Reliability Monitor so I have no idea what the cause is.
