EA ApP Crashing on MAC

EA app randomly decided to undownload the one game I have one there- sims. Now every time I try to launch the entire app crashes and I have to force quit it and then restart my computer. It won’t let me pause or cancel the download without crashing either so I just can’t play my game at all or even launch the app. This has been going on for two days now
