EA App Created a random account with a 2-factor authorized email

So basically, I just purchased and downloaded Star Wars Battlefront 2 on Steam, and when I launched it, it started downloading EA App, no biggie, but when I signed into the app the game didn't appear on the profile. I figured, "Hey maybe I need to launch the game in order to get it to link properly" and after doing exactly that, the game said I was offline so I clicked "Connect" and it opened the EA app to a profile I never made with an email that isn't mine that I can't change as it's 2-factor verified somehow? But it also says my steam account is linked to it and my game is on that account. I really would like to link to my actual account from the console I played on and have the ability to have my own username that I picked out you feel? How the heck do I fix something like that?

  • Upon further inspection, it appears I got randomly linked to some random's account as there is a linked Xbox account that isn't mine attached to it as well. How does this level of **bleep** up happen? How does it randomly decide to link to a random person's account?
