EA App Created a random account with a 2-factor authorized email

So basically, I just purchased and downloaded Star Wars Battlefront 2 on Steam, and when I launched it, it started downloading EA App, no biggie, but when I signed into the app the game didn't appear...

Upon further inspection, it appears I got randomly linked to some random's account as there is a linked Xbox account that isn't mine attached to it as well. How does this level of **bleep** up happen? How does it randomly decide to link to a random person's account?
