EA App does not launch, receive "Temporarily lost connection"

Platform:PC

Summarize your bug EA App won't launch it says "temporarily lost connection." I have tried several attempts to fix this but none of them work. PLEASE HELP.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Install EA App, open, "temporarily lost connection"
What happens when the bug occurs? EA won't start it says all over "temporarily lost connection"
What do you expect to see? I expect to play the game?

    What i do is disable every protection in my antivirus, turn off all of them don't even let a single one is active (I'm using Kaspersky). Just wait a few seconds and try to open the EA app again, now see if it working, I hope it helps

    Turning off AV while being online is a bad idea. EA screwed this up, but that doesn't mean we need to make ourselves vulnerable to online threats. Just saying.

  • Well turn it off only when you want to play EA games, not surfing the internet 🤔

    and turn it on again after you are done playing.

    And actually, not all people use AV btw 🤔

    Hi again everyone, 

    If you are still getting this same error when you try launching the EA app, could you help us by sharing your Error Report IDs? If possible, please also include an approximate time stamp of the last time you tried logging in. 

    You can find more information on how to get the Report ID at the EA Help website. Once you have the Report ID please share it in this thread. We just need the Report ID, not the error log files themselves.

  • I saw someone say try logging in while using a VPN. I tried that and it worked for me. I hope this helps. This is incredibly ridiculous that we even have to jump through these hoops in the first place. 

  • Try restarting your router. Even if you think your internet is fine. For me my browser worked fine but later realised some programs were being flaky.
