@eduonkhl Hi, have you performed an App Recovery / Clear Cache of the app recently by any chance?
- eduonkhl1 year agoRising Vanguard@EA_Leeuw Thanks for the response! Yes I have because I had another issue where it kept asking me for a key whenever I tried to launch BF3 and only that seems to have solved that issue for now. However this issue has persisted before I did the App Recovery/Clear Cache and still does after it. I've found a file under documents that seems to save the settings for the app. Changed them to the desired ones and made the file read only. Currently in the process of evaluating if the issue persists.
However I'm still of the opinion that bugs like this are not the users responsibility to fix and it's long overdue that bug reports of this app are taken much more seriously than is currently the case especially since the app still is inferior in stability and working order to the app it is supposed to replace (Origin). That's why bug reports like this are important to share. Thanks again for your help! - EA_Leeuw1 year ago

@eduonkhl Hey, thanks for your reply! I wanted to clarify that the options to opt out of some features or disable certain options in the EA app are designed to reset whenever you clear the cache or perform an App Recovery. This happens because those settings are stored in the client's cached configurations. So, when the cache is cleared, all of those settings get reset and will need to be reconfigured.
I appreciate your feedback on this! - ApprovedAnonymous1 year ago
The EA app does not respect the usage sharing option, after restarting (usually) the option resets for no reason and I have to turn it off again. This also happens for other settings such as game launch options.
