Previously after launching anything on Steam and later on opening up the EA App it would always ask me for my password, regardless of setting the "stay logged in" flag. On this version it's not doing that anymore.
The warning in the image you're sharing is the one that always shows when launching anything from Steam so that is expected because EA App runs with purchasing options disabled as long as you are running a Steam game.
Strange that its saying you are offline. There might be something else going on. Can you try launching EA App on its own without launching a game, then exiting the app, then launching it again and see if it keeps you logged in?

But sadly this says not much as i have sometimes month with no Problems.
Then it starts again after an EA APP update.
I logged in then restarted PC and it was working.
What often happens if the Game Crashes cause DX12 is still buggy. The keep login Problem comes back.
What maybe, could be you also find strange (with be not online bug)is i had my first Version as Epic Game free Version then last may 4. I bought it with alot of other old Star Wars Games on Steam. As the Epic Version doesn't
allow you to Play all Games Modes. That it mixes something up with Versions on Epic Steam and EA.
Hope this time EA has fixed this forever.

Sadly nothing Fixed as i wrote this for you and switched back to the Game it was hanging and only Alt+F4 was possible.
The EA App keeped after restart the login but it now is back with not ONline.

I suggest you as you don't send any crash Report to MS or Steam and your APP works for MS like a Browser set down your Security Settings in Days where every AAA Games is Prodected by Denuvo and you allow selling or even Free Games from like Epic Games.
This seems for me the only Longterm Solution to fix this. Why should i be forced to run EA APP in Background if i Play a Steam Games or Play a Game that i bought on STEAM you also have but or Developed but bought over STEAM.
UBIsoft forced me to Launch its APP if i Play Wildlands but it works flaweless and don't runs by Startup or in Background.
If i close EA APP it is i say it "So disapointed that i dare to close it and logges you out."
So on next System start you have to login again.
Easy just don't log out User if the Close your App.
I have a very strong CPU running with a Ryzen 9 7950X3D so that my whole System is hanging because an APP crashes isn't going to happen easy.
But according to STEAM 70% of their Users are playing still in 1080p on weak Systems. 10-20% in 1440p. The 10% on better Systems are the minority group.
Hi AzraelLegion. From the image you posted it seems like it is working as usual when running Steam games, which is that you can't use EA App for purchasing things until you shut down the Steam game you are running.
Some EA games on Steam need to run EA app because they are programmed with functions for online services and other things that require EA app to run. It's essentially a helper program for the game when used this way, so EA app goes into a mode that limits its other uses because it is only meant to be working as a helper service for the game in this mode. This is similar to how some games run additional services in parallel that you can see in your task manager while they are running, just that in this case that helper service can also work as a store when the game isn't running.
If you want to enable all the functionality of EA app, you do need to close the Steam game you are running and it should work as normal. This does mean that you can't use EA app as a game store while you have a Steam game running, but this is how its meant to work and this only happens with Steam games.
You said that if you close the app while running a game it logs you out but when I tried to close the app it just said that I had to shut down the game first and wouldn't let me close the app. Then I forced the app to close with the task manager but when I ran it again it still logged me in automatically. I'm not sure why it is logging you out on your computer.
Sure if you run a Game the APP must run in background no doubt. But EA App always runs in Background even if you play no EA Game. If you dare to close EA APP for Windows11 (not minimize)it logs you out. Even MS Store(XBOX) is not running in Background if you don't start it.
I can shutdown STEAM when i play Jedi Survivior that is not the Version i got for my Asus Motherboard. I talk for the Version from Jedi Survivior i bought by EA.
I play since begin SWGOH i have an active Guild which is full we sort out users that are longer offline if the don't tell us about.

Is a daily visit for us especially our new weaker Members could use it really good to pump up their Toons.
If i visit Store here with my PC (same IP trusted Device) i need to start whole login with enter email get code on my Z Fold 5 (trusted Device rember me on)
And same the other way.
I had alot of friends(know them real life) playing with them BF5 SWBF2 but we had so much problems getting in a game together and if finally could start playing by someone the Game crashed after a while. He wasn't able to get back without restarting PC. That mostly ended that we went to next map or the Server was full.
Sure not all had a high end PC and BF 5 is for me now playable as i would run it as it came out but the Hardware was just not so far.
So i purged all friends on every Game Store Accounts and prefer to play allone with strangers.
No waiting, no accusations, just fun and a quick round when ever you want.
Alot of SWGOH Guilds force their Members to use discord they stuck with open slots because the game went through the sky with Time and money you need for it.
We have been in similar Situation and merged 3 or 4 years ago with Discord Duty guild our Leader luckily had not much time so we dont had to use Discord as Duty.
But the other Officers want to get in only new members with for new Players (with even with too much money)not reachable goal.
This ended a Mod that was doing whole work by raids for us giving up the game. Then was half a year only struggle and chaos and 10 Accounts with alot of GM and GLs being offline for month and no new couldn't join because the need GM was just to high for them.
Our old Leader could often not read the chat just because it auto purges it self after a view days (thats why alot force their members to use discord) so he changed his leadership to me.
I purged all offline slot blocking high GM GL Members gave all active Players Officer and opened for all with 13+ Account. As we play for fun and not are willing to let us force to use an EA extern app and most know what to do things are running smooth now.
The built in Chat by BF5 wasn't useable for us these days so we need to use discord too. Discord went from a good alternative to old TS to always in Background running spying APP that floods you with commercial like Epic Store(that since i bought SWBF2 by STEAM isn't even in autostart.)
I got last warning from Discord last month that they are going to purge my server and Account. I hope it is already gone but better don't look after it before it reactivates itself again.(Have not used for nearly 4 years or longer.)
So i know what i'm talking about EA is the most hated APP by all players around the world. That you have to remind user to be poilte in chat and run Employees hidded as Community Guides and make it immpossible to reach real Support says all.
When you are able to start a ticket after hours of reading this Answer HQ. The Ticket is closed by an Employe and you don't even get a mail. If you open it again an other closes it.
You have AAA games but you also give old Games away as Present this brings in Users with weak Hardware that can't efford the Game.
On the one side you are the Elite Game Developer that sells Games that need Highend Hardware to play on the other side
you also give away old Games for Free on like Epic that you Support then is maxed out with unlucky Players is no wonder.
Okay i got SWBF2 for free too so you can say it is working that someone purchases a Game later our Commercial is working.
I knew before that with dudes i used to play and they want me to play SWBF2 with them too. Ends in 2hours chat over Steam and then 5 minutes in Game before first one crashes or gets his CS:GO invite so iwasn't willing to play it with them.
I thought free version is good enough for that. Was a big fault the CO-OP wasn't playable and if i got invited i often couldn't join them because it said sorry buy Fullversion.
Now i have 3 Game Store APPs where i could play the game.
Could it help if i buy SWBF2 by EA itself sadly not because i already own the Game so i cannot buy it.
