EA App forgets settings very often (possible GDPR violation)

I originally wanted to post this in the "bug reports" section, but the very first required dropdown menu choice cannot be selected.

Anyway, the EA App has a very high chance of resetting all settings to default when opening the application. So it literally enables data collection even though it has been turned off. This is surely in violation of the European Union's GDPR policy right? Also all launch commands for games are reset aswell. I have tried re-installing the application, re-installing Windows 11. This also happens on multiple computers with different EA accounts aswell (but not all of them).

It's very annoying to have to check that all settings are correct when opening the application. I have sent a suggestion via the EA App half a year ago but it still keeps happening. Thanks!

    Seems to be fixed now? or maybe it was because i re-installed windows with the Microsoft "reset PC but keep settings"?

    So it's either EA App who has been fixed, or it was my Operating System (Windows 11 24H2) that was the problem?

    Anyway, it's fixed for me at least. I know other people have had this problem aswell (EA App settings reset and even launch commands got reset) but it has been working alright for a week now.
