EA App Install Error Code 09-D8A2

Summarize your bug i cannot install the EA app
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? idk, its happens when i try to install
What happens when the bug occurs? i put the EAapp.exe to install and when its close to finish gives me a error with code 09-D8A2
What do you expect to see? how to fix this bug

Hi guys, im need help to fix an error. When i put to install my EA app gives me an error

things i tried to fix:

1.unnistall and install all VC++ versions 2005+

2.scann the pc with DISM and sfc in command prompt

3.try to install in manager mode

i put the log of tried installation

(cm edit - updating title)

Hi I've had the same problem and now I fixed it. You need to uninstall every Visual C++ in your PC. Please refer to this link to see the details. vc_runtimeMinimum_x64.msi error - Microsoft Community
I'm not good in English. Anyways you can firstly uninstall the VC through a regular way--open your Programs and Features. Then, you should download the program provided at the last comment of the link I attached--that is to uninstall hidden VC. Then you just use whatever platform to install all VC back again. (I used a Chinese app on PC so I cannot recommend that to you).

Hii! I'm having this problem for over a year. Today I decided to go to ea help, they sent me this link to try to solve my problem. but my problem has not been resolved... If anyone can help me in any other way, please get in touch... my email is [edit: email address removed]

@gegecok Can you try the following and let me know if they work for you?

Go to the Control Panel

Programs and Features

Uninstall EVERY SINGLE Microsoft C++ Redistributable

Download the EA App installer but DONT RUN YET

go to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 and download the appropriate architecture of the latest C++

Install the C++ Package

Go to Local Disk/Program Files/ Electronic Arts AND DELETE THE ENTIRE ELECTRONIC ARTS FOLDER

Restart Computer

Install EA App

Hi @ghork7,

I've moved your post here as this seems to be the same issue. Can you please take a look at the first page of this Thread and try reinstalling Visual C++ as this has fixed the issue for other users?

Hi, i tried this, but it doesnt worked.
