Hi Kova_Naz1357
I get why you’re frustrated. When a launcher prevents you from accessing games you’ve paid for, that’s not acceptable -- and spending an entire weekend troubleshooting only makes it worse.
That said, shouting at the platform doesn’t actually help us fix your issue. What does help is narrowing down exactly what’s breaking so we can either get you a workaround or escalate a reproducible problem to the team that owns the EA app.
A few important clarifications up front:
- The EA app is required for (nearly) all (depending on launcher) EA PC titles. That isn’t changing in the short term.
- Reinstalling dozens of times and swapping Google accounts(?) won’t help if the underlying issue is a corrupted cache, permissions, or a service conflict.
- “It’s garbage” doesn’t give us anything actionable to work with -- but crashes and failure-to-launch are things we can dig into.
If you actually want to try to get this resolved, here’s what we need:
- Your OS and version (Windows 10/11, fully updated or not).
- Whether the app crashes immediately or fails silently.
- Any error codes or crash reports generated.
- Whether you’ve already cleared the EA app cache and repaired the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables.
- Whether any antivirus, VPN, or overlay software is running.
If you’re not interested in troubleshooting, that’s your choice, and we’ll close the thread here. If you do want help, we, and the community, are ready to work with you -- many players with similar issues have gotten the app running once the specific failure point was identified.
Your frustration is understandable, but let’s channel it into something that actually gets your games playable again.
