EA app launch attempts are unresponsive

Product: The EA appPlatform:PCError Report ID (learn how to create an Error Report ID in the sticky post) There is no associated errorWhich client functionality are you experiencing this bug with? Launch GameWhen did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Since the EA App replaced OriginSummarize your bug EA apps wont launch from Steam or from the EA app itself.How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure. Using my platforms (desktop, 2 laptops, and an asus rog ally) try to run any game that requires the EA app. it just wont.What happens when the bug occurs? No windows pop up no .exe apps start. It says launching then just stops launching without errorWhat do you expect to see? I expect to see my purchased games playable. I paid money for them why do i need an app to launch my games?‌Ive been in the forums many times about this and ive been having this problem since the origin app was replaced. Customer support had me go through some troubleshooting steps like clearing app cache by 'repairing' it. I disabled virus protection. This has also happened on other devices and before and after i reinstalled windows 11 on my pc and doing a factory restart. I thought well maybe they will work on the ROG Ally which i was hopeful for when i bought it. They wont launch there either. I paid for these games and its been about a year since ive been able to play any of them. The headache from going through all these steps every couple months when i want to try it again is getting unbearable.

Attempting to launch an app that requires the EA Launchet from my desktop pc, 2 laptops, and asus rog ally are unresponsive whether they are launched from steam or the EA app itself. I click play then the launching window pops up then it just stops without error. This has been going on since the EA app replaced origin. I have contacted customer support and went through a few troubleshooting steps such as clearing EA app cache, turning off virus protection, ive even fully reinstalled windows (useless i know since this happens on multiple devices) and no luck yet. HELP PlEASE!!!

@SupervisedChaos This just happened to me but same. I even checked my firewall: nothing. Even the shortcuts to games don't work. I'm losing my mind.

This worked for me but I'm not sure if it will for you.

I went to the EA website and asked it to download EA app. It popped up and said that I already have EA app in the computer, and asked if I wanted to repair. I said yes and it finally opened.

I am also having this problem using a Macbook. I did as&nbsp;@xemily91&nbsp;mentioned and reinstalled the app but at no point was prompted with the repair option. Has anyone had any success? My EA Launcher app and others are looking pretty out of wack too
