I am experiencing similar issues. I got a new gaming PC yesterday to play the sims and was trying to set it up but the EA app keeps crashing or saying there is server or connectivity issues. When I can get in, I can't download any of my content. I have restarted my computer. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have cleared my cache. Nothing is working.
