EA app not connecting

Summarize your bug Anytime i click on the launcher to the EA app I'm greeted with an error (no code) that says that the servers crashed and cannot connect. When I checked to see if it was my computer it said the EA aoo was disconnected but it remains installed. My computer (the day this issue happened) space was full and sims 4 needed an update for the new expansion. My husband helped me move the app into a separate external hard drive and thats when it refused to continue working. I have turned everything off and on again and met nothing. My computer is connected to the wifi and the router is in the same room as my computer. I just want my game to work and I would prefer not to uninstall and reinstall the game so i can play.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? click on the app and the error will appear after 5 seconds of loading time and the error message will say "The background services aren't responding, so we're kicking off the update manually. Stay put while we get the app ready for you" click "restart app" and the loading screen will remain on there for hours on end click no and then you will get a pop up of asking if you want to let the EA app change your pc and click yes it has another black pop up that shows some basic coding and click no it disappears and closes the app
What happens when the bug occurs? nothing the app either is in a permanent loading state or closes altogether.
What do you expect to see? maaaaaaan i just want to play my game again ;3;
I just want to play sims and my EA app wont even load. I keep trying the recommended solutions online and keep coming back stumped. I am not the most tech/computer savvy person but I can understand the basics. I just want help ;3;
