ea app not loading correctly and app recovery not working

Summarize your bug when opening the EA app or launching game from desktop shortcut the app launches but library doesn't populate with the yellow banner saying it si taking longer than usual to load.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? not sure haven't been able to isolate what is triggering it just know what workaround used to work and what steps i have tried to fix its latest incarnation.
What happens when the bug occurs? the app will load but with no library content and if i try to click on any of the store items nothing will load. i'll just get a yellow banner saying this is taking longer which won't go away no matter how long i leave it.
What do you expect to see? i would expect the app to launch and minimise straight away if launching a game from shortcut and then the game booting up. or if launching the app itself then i would expect the app and my library to be displayed after longlining in if needing
normally i try to launch games from the desktop shortcuts/start menu so not sure if this is a bug caused by this or general with the app. about 2 in 3 launches of any game installed via the EA app it'll just load the client but not load in my library giving me the yellow banner saying it is taking longer to load and hang in there. i can leave this for hours and nothing will change.
up until yesterday (10th of June) i could workaround the bug by running the ea app updated which would then reload the app with my currently installed games visible in my library.
however today this wasn't working (maybe it can't find an update to patch in). i have tried to run the app recovery both as admin but it just insta crashes my app without unexpectedly (even if i don't have the running before hand i.e. if i launch the recovery tool from my program files).
how can i actually play the games i have installed on my computer or are there other workarounds for this library issue
