I have just switched over from Origin to EA app (Desktop) to play Sims games.Everytime I run the game I am having to sign in with the App even though I have the "remember me" option ticked. This is frustrating as the Origin Engine never made me do this each time.Are EA looking into this problem for the desktop App? Yes I have tried uninstalling the app but it still asks me to log in each time.

@EA_LeeuwYes correct. When my pc goes to sleep or I shut down the "keep me signed in" option Not working. I have cleared cache etc which I thought worked but was wrong. Its not a big deal of course except when pc just sleeps. Then its annoying. LOLEdited to add: Does not store email and password info. I have to re input it after shut down/go to sleep.

@EA_LeeuwApplies latest update to App. Let my pc 'go to sleep" while app active.First came up with " no internet" and login screen just for a second or two then logged me in automatically.So I am going to say the latest update has corrected the error. Thank you for responding.And no never crashed.

I'm having the same issue, I've been having it since switching over from origin, honestly and it's every time my internet goes down I have to relog in and I'm sick of it, especially since my internet goes down a lot. I haven't heard of any update helping either. is there an update I'm missing or? I just really want to not have to keep logging in every few hours because my internet decides to be [removed] and thus I can't play the sims due to this issue as it crashes my games too. (cm edit - removed language)

Hey @wildlilly1969,

How exactly are you trying to launch one of your sims games? Is this via a desktop shortcut, or directly via your My Collection screen in the EA app?

I also have this problem It seems though I have clicked the remember me option I sill have to fill in my address & password to start the app.
This is from the shortcut on my desktop or it comes up after my screen "wakes up"
I am running Windows 11 and I am wondering if that is the issue.

Having the exact same problem - Windows 10, latest updates and running the latest version of the EA app. Very, very frustrating especially when I want to stream games

Shortcut to the app itself, either from the start menu or the standard shortcut on the desktop. I'm *strongly* thinking of sourcing my EA games elsewhere so I can either add them to steam or be able to easily run them via AMD link so I can stream them

@eliminatrix64, have you already tried to clear the cache of the EA app to see if that does something?

@EA_Leeuw Sigh not working again. App will not stay logged in after pc has been shut down etc.
