EA App under Steam Proton triggers 3.5 GB+ of memory allocation
Every time I launch Sims 4 on Steam (runs on Steam Deck), EA App's memory usage on the Chromium Framework compatibility (CrBrowserMain) gets exceptionally high, starting at 2 GB and skyrocks to 3.5 GB of total memory usage including (shared) GPU memory. I have no ways but to kill the EA App in order to play The Sims 4 with sufficient RAM.
While I know this is not something that's truly fixable on the EA App side, but there should be a memory-saving option for non-Windows platform (e.g., GPU-disabled or headless mode) in order for it to save memory. Most Steam users can't even access the EA App under Proton directly anyway.
