EA Avatar Not Uploading

For some reason i am not able to upload a custom EA avatar to replace my avatar from the gallery. I have no idea why i can't and other users can. There should be an option to "choose from gallery" and to "upload custom image" but the option to upload is just gone.

Please help. Any suggestions are appreciated.
