hi so i’ve had this problem for nearly a month (well i worked on trying to get it to work for a couple of weeks but stopped and i went back to see if it’d open if i left it alone you know)! but ive restarted multiple times, deleted and redownloaded the app multiple times, and nothing has changed! i deleted all of my cc because i thought it was the problem, nopeee! so if someone knows what to do please respond because im going crazy over this :,(
i have also checked my laptop for any bugs and there wasn’t any, just to mention 😢
I also had the same issue! I chatted with EA support and they told me the EA app cache has been having issues with Mac. If you had the same thing as me where when you click to open the app and it shows it's active in the toolbar (but doesn't fully launch the app), you can go under Help tab and you can restart and clear cache from there but this isn't enough to get it to work. You have to go into your Mac files and manually clear cache. They gave me this link with very specific instructions on how to clear cache:
This worked for me and I can open the EA app and play games again. I hope this helps you!
