EA APP won't launch game in PC

Question

I am currently trying to play Dragon Age Inquistion on PC after buying it on Steam. When I try to run the game, it launches the EA App. When I try to start the game in the EA App, the App disappears for a couple of seconds, then pops back up without actually starting the game. This is incredibly frustrating, as there seem to be many people with the same issue, yet the problem is not fixed.

This kind of customer service failure really makes me not want to buy any other EA games on any platform, as it just feels like we are being taken advantage of.

I have been having the same issue trying to run Jedi Fallen Order. Having to uninstall and re-install the app and that sometimes resolved the issue. Not buying any more EA games til they get rid of the garbage app. Just want to actually play the games I already own, spend more time trying to troubleshoot the dumpster fire of an app than playing the **bleep** games

Yeah god knows I'm not buying any more EA games, what an absolute dumpsterfire. Not to mention that the email support keeps sending me very obvious AI responses with troubleshooting links to completely irrelevant **bleep**, like "how to fix bad video quality" mate I can't even launch the game what are you smoking?!

At this point I think it's time to consider EA to be the Temu of games - crap quality with no remorse.
