The EA App won't open for me now either. It was working over the last few days, including yesterday, but it won't open today. What I get is the little screen you get when you first open the app and then it goes away and nothing else happens, the app won't open. I went into the location folder and tried to open it that way and it failed to launch. I made sure I was set to administer and still no launch. Nothing changed on my end, what's up on EA's side of things?
My solution for the moment is that I've reinstalled Origin. I have successfully gained access to my library again, done game repairs and successfully opened a game.
I do not want to struggle to access games I've paid for so I will stick with the Origin Launcher for the time being.

14:-1This is after I've downloaded - I start the install and this comes up... How did you reinstall?!
I used an older copy of the Origin app I still had in a file on my hard drive.
