EA app won't update

I have a PC and every time now this comes up ( The latest version of EA anticheat is required to play error 136 ) it is on  automatic update and I went to EA games website and can't find a update for EA app. It will not let me play Battlefield 2042 and last time it toke me a year to find a update so EA are you going to take a long time before you put a ( EA app ) update on your website ????????
