EA_Cade please help — EA account can’t link to correct Steam after mistake

Hi EA_Cade,

I need help fixing a mistaken account link that’s now blocking access to Battlefield 2042.

A few days ago, I launched the game on my Steam, but the EA App was logged into my girlfriend’s EA account.
Her EA account was then automatically linked to my Steam, even though it should’ve been linked to hers.

We immediately:
- Unlinked her EA account from my Steam
- Linked my Steam to my own EA account

Now her EA account shows no linked Steam, but when she tries to link it to her own Steam, it says:
"This EA Account is already linked to a different Steam account (Billy HERRINGTON)."

So, even though everything looks unlinked, EA still seems to remember the old connection and won’t let her re-link it properly.

Could you please manually reset her EA account’s Steam connection from the backend?

It was just a small mistake — but now she’s unable to play the game she owns.
We’d be super grateful if this could be resolved quickly.
