EA Desktop App - Update installation stucked

Summarize your bug After an update at the weekend MADDEN NFL 21 is stucked. The download manager says it is finished, but the process bar is still working. Launching the game is impossible
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? none
What happens when the bug occurs? Launching the game is impossible
What do you expect to see? Game should work

Same for Apex legends.
Updated yesterday, played. Today I launch EA desktop just to find the download manager stuck at "finished", progress bar is moving, can't click cancel, can't click pause, can't play.

Hi folks,

If you're still experiencing this issue, could you please create an Error Report and post the ID in this thread? That will help us investigate this bug.

nvrmind. i found it and will post shortly.
and yes, the error is still there. haven't been using EA desktop since 6 days now.

Fixed it clearing the Cache a few days ago and this is now back agian.

Clearing the cache fixes it temporarily but every time there's a new Apex Legends update, EA Desktop does not see it, then I have Origin do the update, and afterwards EA Desktop is stuck telling me an update is needed and never completing it.
It either shows as "Update required" and when I try to have it install the update, all I get is "Unable to install
There was a slight hiccup and we couldn’t finish installing Apex Legends. Restart your PC and try again.".

I've had this behaviour on the last 3 Apex Legends updates that were released.
