EA Games App Won’t Work
I have searched through a lot of threads via this answers page and none of the solutions provided work. I will first get an error message trying to use the app itself and it says “Temporarily lost connection” and prompts me to restart. I have done that 20 times at this point. No other devices in my house are having wi-fi issues. And I can use internet just fine on my PC.
I have uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, ensured it’s not being blocked by a firewall, etc. I have windows 10 and it was working just fine a week ago. The farthest I get is logging into the app and it not letting me see or access any of my installed expansion packs, so it is pile only let me play with the base game. When I attempt to do so it shuts down and says “something went wrong there’s a problem with your account”.
Im getting rather frustrated by this not only because it was working fine a week ago, but because so many people appear to be having the same issues and the EA team isn’t doing anything. I have been a longtime fan of the Sims and played each edition. I have spent an unreal amount of money on Sims 3 and would love to be able to actually play it.
