EA games bought via Epic Games won't download or start since Dec. 14, 2023

I bought FC 24 on Epic Games this morning, and now I can't get into the game. When I click on the game icon, EA Play comes up first, then Epic Games, and then it stays. Then when I return to Ea play ...

Got the same problem with Jedi Survivor here, can click on start, EA app pops out, a few seconds pass, a smaller secondary window pops in, then disappears, and I'm back on EA app... didn't even have a chance to play once
