@EA_Blueberry No, there is no EA Desktop folder in my Electronic Arts folder on C drive. Only one there is called EA services

Are you sure the file isn't hidden? You see EA desktop installed under your programs from the control panel, right?

There's a chance it's a program blocking the installation which prompts the error. Can you try a clean boot and then immediately attempt to install it?How to Clean Boot your PC
