- @alexisnicole165 THANK YOU FOR THIS!! I was a little lost, but I figured it out!
(for anyone a little lost: "This PC > Windows (C🙂 > Windows > " and that's where you add the installer if there isn't one) As a PC novice I am just so glad to have helped!! And thank you for explaining this better 🙂
I can't remember if I already replied to your comment and I'm not seeing but I figured out a solution (I hope, for everyone)! Confirm that the c:/windows/installer folder exists. Go to your files. Go to "this pc", windows (c🙂, and look for a folder called "installer". If it doesn't exist - create it!
This worked!!! So simple thank you!
You have to make an installer file inside of windows . I had the same issue this fixed it in a few minutes.👍🏼 C:\windows\installer
Yes, I have this exact same problem. I've tried every work around, short of attempting reinstall of Windows 10 or install Windows 11. I'm not convinced they will work or solve this, as since a Feb. 2024 Microsoft Windows 10 update, Windows update and Windows installer seem to not work for all previously compatbile programs.
have you tried the solution I posted the other day? Seems to have worked for many.
- @alexisnicole165 I've tried to see if I can create a installer folder for windows but I don't know how to.
- @alexisnicole165 I managed to install the ea app but now I've run into another issue when trying to install a game it give an error after about c++ what exactly is that and how do I fix it
I tried this but I am still having the issue with my new NZXT PC. It's so frustrating. I try to the clean boot, I tried modifying my VC+ + I've tried creating a new Windows User Account, I've cleared my computer temp folder. I added the files to my firewall exceptions. I've even chatted with EA support chat, they were unsuccessful with helping me and to me to come back here. I am not really sure what else I can do to fix this issue.
