F1 25 - Cloud Sync Error EC:10600 Loop (Offline workaround only)

Hello everyone,

I am creating this post because I am facing a major, persistent, and very frustrating issue when trying to launch F1 25 on PC through the EA App. The game was working perfectly fine yesterday, but today this bug started happening out of nowhere without any changes made to my system.

When I try to launch the game normally (either via the EA App "Play" button or by simply double-clicking the desktop shortcut), the launcher gets stuck infinitely on the small "Launching game..." windows. After waiting for about 5 minutes, it always ends up crashing or showing a cloud synchronization error message stating: "We couldn't load your cloud data" along with Error Code: EC:10600.

If I try to use the "Repair" option within the EA App, the process fails after a few minutes, giving me an error saying it cannot complete the sync and forcing me to either retry or use a "local version" of the game.

The only way I can actually get into the game right now is by doing this tedious process:

  1. I completely close the EA App.
  2. I open the EA App and immediately use the top-left menu to "Go Offline".
  3. In Offline Mode, the game bypasses the cloud check and launches instantly into local mode.
  4. Once I reach the main menu of F1 25, I have to Alt + Tab back to Windows, set the EA App back to "Go Online", and return to the game so I can finally connect to EA servers and play my Coop Career mode with my friend.

Alternatively, if I let the "Repair" tool run and fail for 5 minutes, it sometimes lets me launch the game locally afterwards, but it's just as slow.

I looked up solutions online and someone suggested a fix: going to Documents, renaming the F1 25 folder to F1 25_old, and restarting the game to let it generate clean files (making sure not to touch the main game installation directory).

I tried this, but it changed absolutely nothing. Even with a renamed folder, the game still loops for 5 minutes at launch before throwing the exact same EC:10600 error message.

since the game runs flawlessly once I bypass the initial check, my local files and hardware are clearly not the issue. This is 100% a broken cloud save synchronization handshake between my specific profile and EA's servers.

Has anyone found a permanent solution to fix this EC:10600 loop without having to toggle offline/online mode every single time? Any help from a Community Manager or fellow player would be greatly appreciated.

thank you!
