Failed to launch game - error on our end

I read all the forum messages about this issue from 3 years ago and tried all their solutions. I sent in a ticket to EA Games. I cleared the cache, restarted everything, went into the EA Games folder in my program files, tried running as administrator, tried everything else people mentioned. I forced a game update, an app update, and all produced no results. What is the point of having a game you can't open? I never had this problem before the app. Yes, my new laptop meets and exceeds all requirements. Running Windows 11.

What else can I do? And if the error is on EA Games end, why can't they fix it?

Do you own the game or are you trying to play it as part of ea play?

This is how I solved it , create another folder for your mods , move all your mods to that new file , then delete the EA electronic file , clear cache , then repair game . Then it should open .

Hey, I’m hoping someone will be able to help me out here. Whenever I try to launch the sims medieval, EA gives the error “Failed to launch game: An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later.” It’s been over two months since I purchased this game, and I have yet to play it. It’s not launched once, despite the extensive amount of fixes I have tried. I reached out to EA help, and they said they would look into it because everything they suggested for me to try didn’t work. My case has been marked as resolved and it’s been over a month with no resolution or contact. I’ve repaired the game, emptied the cache, ran as an administrator, etc etc. My computer more than meets the requirements for it. I’d like to get a refund if this doesn’t get fixed because it’s unfair for me to pay full money for a game they won’t let me launch. Any suggestions would be helpful. I’m willing to try almost anything at this point. Thanks

Same, i don't know how many times I did all the ideas I found online, and nothing is helping. I'm so sad that I'm not able to play at all 😔 😔 😔

  • Same error for me with Battlefield 1. Tried verifying files, go to Menu -> Help -> App recovery and reboot.

I'm having this error too. Deleted cache, reinstalled EA APP and repaired the game - nothing works.
