Forum Discussion
Hello everyone,
I'm writting this to let everyone know how i defeted this monster.
I've seen and tried every possible thing i've seen on this forum. From "clear cache" to even a BIOS update. I've seen it and tried it all trust me. Then, i come across a video on Youtube about Windows update of recent that is causing trouble for SSD/HDD drives. I was like wait a second, could it be.
To get to the point, i've went and uninstalled the latest Windows update from the time i started getting this error, and now i am can say that i have won this battle.
For those who are not that much into PC-s: Go to: settings-windows update-update history-uninstall updates. After that find your update that matches the date when error happend and uninstall it (Before you do this pause auto windows update for a week). Also after you do this clear cache and reset everything you can.
I hope this will help everyone with this problem. I will try to answer comments as much as i can if this becomes seen as much.
Cheers.
I have the same problem, and i did what you described, but after the restart the update was still there (with todays date, and yes i stopped auto update also) so i'm still unable to play BF1 from EA app....the funny thing is every other game works...only BF1 is not launching

I just restored Windows to an earlier date (08.15 - it didn't allow to go for a date earlier than that). now the problem is still up and i don't see KB5062673 in windows update so i can't try that either....maybe i try to reinstall windows (as the restore caused a few other problems anyways), and all of my programs. But its clean, that if it works to you, then its Microsoft's fault...lets hope EA contacts them fast...
