    Ongoing Investigation - Marked as Solution for visibility

    Hey all,

    The EA app teams have released an update that changes the behaviour of the issue.

    The change is implemented in EA app version 12.138, or above.

    Please check what version of the EA app you're using. You can do that via these steps:

    The update should install automatically for you in the coming days.

    However, to check if you can force the update of the EA app, please run the "EA Updater" that comes with the installation of the EA app.

    Please let us know if you're still experiencing the issue once you've updated the EA app.

    If you're still experiencing the issue and your EA app is up to date, please provide the requested details for the investigation: here.

Hey @tofifi10 do you see an error message of any kind when this occurs?

If you open up Task Manager do you see the app running there?

I have exactly same problem as tofifi (I downloaded the app today), I try to open the sims it shows me that I need to sign up in EA app i did that many times and it always disapeare, I controled in Task Manager and it don't run in the backround. I really don't know what to do.

    Same issue here .

    Seeing so many problems when the application is supposed to replace Origin this year... it is not reassuring all all.

    Fortunately there is the partnership with Steam, it fixed a lot of problems for many I think.

    About the problem, after launch, the App disappear except the process "EABackgroundService.exe"
